SMC 144 PQ-S
SMC 144 is specially designed datalogger for remote monitoring of energy consumption and power quality parameters in submetering and smart metering applications. The DIN rail mountable display-less design with multiple communication options is suitable for a wide spectrum of automation tasks in modern buildings, remote supervison of the infrastructure and also the energy management.
Its input, output and communication interface portfolio can be easily extended with additional IO extension modules for extra control capability. Currently a 10 MBit Ethernet, USB, M-Bus and wireless(ZigBee, WiFi) extension is available.
This compact instrument is an ideal and a cost-optimized source of data for any modern SCADA system with embedded support for Modbus protocol. It is also supported by the ENVIS application. It continually records all measured quantities and related system logs. Separately it also records periodic electricity meter readings (load profiles).
In complex systems the instrument can be well integrated with other instruments - namely with the PA 144 and SMD 118.

SMC 144 is a fully featured power analyser: this type of instrument builds on its PA 144. It measures and stores number of aggregated values. It includes a multitude of additional functions such as the storage of min, avg and max values, archive of energy consumption per tariff, quadrant and phase (15 minuntes electricity meter readings), logs of state changes and many other information. All this archived information is stored and downloaded by the supervising software for processing.

Typical wiring and mechanical dimensions
Wiring example: Currents of 5A up to 600A are measured directly with clamp-on or wire-through probes, this special approach significantly reduces the total cost of installation.

ENVIS application suite provides all features for basic instrument management (configuration, supervision, fw update). It also downloads and archives data from all the supported instruments. import/export, data analysis and advanced reporting of the records is also provided. ENVIS is available free of charge to be used with all our instruments.
ENVIS.Online system service can be used to implement complex power quality monitoring and/or energy efficienci control and monitoring systems. By using email, SMS or SNMP all registered users and administrators can be warned upon exeptional situations, malfunction of supply or monitored instruments or it can be used to post periodical analysis/reports.
Additional plugin modules can also add special features or customizations to booth ENVIS and ENVIS.Online in a modular manner.
